License Plate-Based Access
No tickets, just drive in
At each access point, an Avutec ANPR camera reads the vehicle's license plate. If the license plate is registered in the system, the barrier opens automatically.
Vanbreda can easily add and manage license plates, giving them full control over who has access to the parking facility. A third barrier was installed for visitors, allowing them to be directed straight to their designated parking spaces.
No tickets or additional actions are required from the user. The license plate is the access credential.

Posted hardware
Each entrance and exit was equipped with a DBK barrier gate with support post, combined with a StrongLine pedestal integrating an Avutech ANPR camera.
For vehicle detection, we selected Evoloop sensors. This eliminated the need to cut open the existing parking area to install induction loops in the roadway.
The hardware is mounted on Alphatronics traffic islands with protective bollards. These could be installed and concreted in advance, after which the access hardware was easily mounted. This approach simplified both the installation itself and the preparation work.
A parking solution that does exactly what it is meant to do
This installation clearly demonstrates that an effective parking solution does not have to be unnecessarily complex. Vanbreda did not require an extensive system with tickets or additional hardware, but rather reliable access control and easy management.
By combining barriers, ANPR, vehicle detection and the necessary infrastructure into a single solution, Vanbreda received exactly what was needed for its parking facility.
Only the hardware that was needed, combined into an efficient system tailored to the location.
