Entrance to the church in Zwalm

In Zwalm, more and more deconsecrated churches are being given a new function as community spaces. This offers local residents the opportunity to organize events and gatherings there. But how do you arrange safe, controlled and flexible access?

Your access always in your pocket!

The congregation decided to make the church accessible through a reservation system. Residents can book a time slot in their name in advance.

The challenge? Registration and control.

How do you ensure that only authorized persons enter? Simple: by using the ID card as a means of access!

Reliability in simplicity

In the church, we installed a Miroline pillar with EID reader and screen, linked directly to the door lock. The process is simple:

  • User inserts his identity card into the column
  • The screen shows whether the reservation has been validated
  • Upon approval, the door opens
  • From inside, the door can always be opened

This project is a perfect example of our Facilix solution. With stylish columns, Facilix offers a smooth and user-friendly access system. For the churches in Zwalm, a pillar with an EID reader was ideal, but Facilix adapts to your project.
