Access solution Swimming pool in Lievegem
For the swimming pool in Lievegem, operated by Farys, they were looking for a more efficient way to let visitors in and out. The challenge? The existing system had to be upgraded, but the existing entrance gates were still perfectly usable.
Together with the software of End2End Solutions, we went looking for a hybrid solution that combines new elements with existing hardware.
This is how the system works
Visitors can easily reserve their swim through End2End's online platform, or pay on site at the cash register.
After paying, they receive a QR code that allows them access to the pool.
Regular visitors receive a reusable card with a personalized QR code. On this they can easily recharge their turns - convenient, fast and completely contactless.
Groups also receive specific QR codes that give access for the appropriate time slot.
This creates smooth, automated access, without queues or administrative work.

To support the system, we supplied four Faciline pillars (two standing, two wall-mounted) and a central PC on which the entire system runs.
The pillars are strategically placed at the entrance gates and the side door and communicate directly with the existing access control system.
The Faciline pillar is extremely suitable for pedestrians: equipped with a spacious touch screen, a sleek design and now also fully stickered in the Farys corporate identity.
